
Henderson County is reporting its first confirmed two cases of COVID-19.
The Henderson County Health Department says that one case is a male between the ages of 40 and 50, and the other is a female between the ages of 40 and 50.
No other information about the patients can be released due to federal health privacy laws.
Health department officials say they will be conducting contact tracing to investigate all possible exposures.
Henderson County Health Administrator Angela Myers reminds residents that many with the coronavirus display no symptoms at all.
She says first and foremost it’s important to follow the Governor’s stay at home order.
Henderson was the 91st out of Illinois’ 102 counties to confirm a case of the coronavirus.
