The Illinois Department of Public Health today announced 1,151 new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois, including 59 additional deaths.
Included in that total are Knox County’s 10th case and Warren County’s 15.
Warren County Health Administrator Jenna Link says the latest case is a female between the ages of 20 and 40.
Warren has reported on 14 new confirmed cases since Friday, including three employees at Smithfield Foods, the county’s largest employer by far.
Two of the cases at Smithfield were Rock Island County residents while one was a resident of Warren County.
Knox County Unified Command had not provided details of the 10th case of 4:28 p.m. Monday.
