Billy Carlyle “Bill” McMillan, 82, of Knoxville, passed away at home with his family at his side on Monday, December 14, 2020, at 6:42 PM.
Bill was born on September 15, 1938, in Allamakee, Iowa. He was the son of Carlyle and Bernice (Edwards) McMillan. He married Sally Godfrey on November 10, 1961; she survives. Also surviving are two sons, William David (Brenda) McMillan of Virginia, Illinois and Douglas Lee McMillan of Knoxville; two grandchildren, Michael David McMillan and Kelly Marie McMillan; siblings, Robert (Connie) McMillan of Knoxville and Jeannie (Al) Bower of Galesburg. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Betty (Jack) Bandy.
Bill was an optician for Kehoe Eyecare and Cannon-Holland.
