A well-known house in East Galesburg was destroyed Tuesday night.
Darrell and Sandi Corbin’s home on Indiana Ave. had been a stop for village residents and travelers from afar for their massive light displays at Halloween and Christmas that were synced to music.
Both of them were able to get to safety without injuries.
The Corbins are also very active in the community with Darrell serving as Village Mayor and Sandi on the Board of Trustees.
They’ve also donated and drove many donations to FISH Food pantry, particularly through the holiday displays.
