
William F. “Bill” Randall, 66, of Woodhull, Illinois passed away Friday, February 5, 2021, at 6:36 AM at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, Illinois.
Bill was born May 1, 1954, La Harpe, Illinois, the son of M. Dean Randall and Bertha L. (Johnson) Randall. He married Nancy Downard on February 26, 1971, in Palmyra, Missouri.
He worked most of his life as a mechanic, first in the Woodhull area and later for McCormick Shell and Lakis Ford in Galesburg. Bill loved being around people. He also enjoyed being a teaser from time to time. He enjoyed having a good coffee break, watching cowboy shows, auctions, and researching genealogy.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Randall of Woodhull, IL; 5 siblings, Rhonda (Tom) Sanders of Woodhull, IL, Deanna (Bob) Miles of Alpha, IL, Monica (Joe) Rogula of Cambridge, IL, Tina (Brady) Randall of Woodhull, IL, Jason (Sherry) Randall of Maquoketa, IA; 1 sister-in-law, Rose Morris of Galesburg, IL, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Bertie Randall; 2 sisters, Renee Little, Jodie Grover; and 2 brothers, Randy Randall and Reggy Randall.
Cremation rites have been accorded with the Peterson-Wallin-Knox Funeral Home in Woodhull, IL. A graveside service at the Woodhull Cemetery will be held at a later date.
