The Galesburg Community Foundation announced the opening of the 2021 Turnout Grant Cycle.GCF’s Turnout aims to further support the needs of our region and address opportunities to make our communities stronger. It combines donations from the community, along with dollars from the Community Foundation’s Community Impact Fund. This year’s Turnout will be online only with no in-person presentations The grant cycle is open to 501-C-3 nonprofit or public charities that include churches, schools, and government agencies that serve Knox and Warren counties. “We wanted nonprofits to again have access to be able to ask for what it is that they need for 2021 or for 2022,” said Tiffany Springer. “Previously, the eligibility requirements were just for programmatic needs. We opened our eligibility this year for this grant cycle to include capacity, general operating, and programmatic need requests”  Instead of the fall, the grant cycle is being held this spring, with online applications opening on May 3rd and closing on May 14th. Awards will be distributed by July 1st. Requests get fully funded – with no partial funding awarded. Applications can be found here.
