Juneteenth will be celebrated and remembered this Saturday with an event at Standish Park and Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church. Reverend Andrew Jowers will be the featured speaker along with entertainment and fellowship. Reverend Jowers, Reverend James Hailey and Semenya McCord joined Tom Meredith and Tyler Gumm on “Galesburg’s Morning News” to talk about Juneteenth and the event.
