Galesburg Police on Saturday, June 12th responded to Target for a report of retail theft. According to police reports, a 39-year old male suspect was seen on security footage coming into the store, removing security seals off liquor bottles, concealing them in his pants, and leaving the store without paying for them. There were a total of five incidents between May 11th and June 11th. Police were able to identify the suspect based on his height, weight, and face being in plain view on security cameras. A warrant for his arrest has been issued. He’s facing five counts of Retail Theft less than $300.
