Oneida man arrested by State Police after driving 102 mph in 35 mph zone

On Saturday, July 31st, a motorcyclist was clocked at driving 102 mph in a 35 mph zone near Home Boulevard and Henderson Street in Galesburg, according to a release by the Illinois State Police. Officers attempted to stop the driver, 19-year old Jason M. Ader of Oneida, but he fled from police and troopers terminated the pursuit. It happened around 1:00 in the morning.
District 7 Troopers then made contact with Ader at his residence in Oneida. Ader was taken into custody and his Kawasaki motorcycle was impounded. He’s facing a total of 16 citations from the incident. Charges include Improper Turning, Aggravated Fleeing /Eluding, Speeding 35+, Reckless Driving, No Valid Registration, Violation of Driver’s License Classification, Failure to Signal x 3, Improper Lane Usage, Disobeyed Traffic Control Signal, Driving on Wrong Side of the Road, Avoidance of a Traffic Control Device, Driving Recklessly Close to a Pedestrian, Failure to Transfer Registration, and Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. He was transported to the Knox County Jail.
