
Alyce F. Hall, 79, of Monmouth, IL, passed away at 6:31 p.m., Friday, August 20, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City, IA.
She was born on August 20, 1942, in Monmouth, IL, the daughter of Eldred and Mary Lois (Sage) Crain. Alyce was raised and educated in Monmouth and attended Monmouth Public Schools.
Alyce enjoyed doing puzzles, sewing, crafts, and most of all, spending time with her family.
Surviving Alyce are her children, Tracie (James Zeilstra) Gulick of Oquawka, IL, Stacie Davidson of Monmouth, IL, Mary (David) Blake of Monmouth, IL, Nicki (Danny) Toops of Alexis, IL, Ronald Holeman of Monmouth, IL, and Joe (Tina) Holeman of Monmouth, IL; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Sharon (Chet) Gorman of Monmouth, IL, Joyce (David) Malcom of Monmouth, IL; one brother, Darrell “Butch” (Martha) Crain, one half-brother, Randy Bell; half-sister, Laurie (Leo) Ramos; and sister-in-law, Vickie Crain.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; grandson, Nathan Elliott; brother, Allen Crain; half-brother, Lennie Bell; and daughter-in-law, Shelly Holeman.
A Celebration of Life will be from 3:30-6:30 p.m., Saturday, August 28, 2021, at the Monmouth V.F.W. Hall (830 North G St., Monmouth, IL). Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials can be made to the Alyce Hall Memorial Fund. McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, is in charge of the arrangements.
