State Police say that the Nissan turned left onto 750 North without yielding for the northbound traffic, striking the Ford.
Details of the crash were not released but authorities say that all six occupants of the two vehicles were injured.
The four in the Nissan were transported by ambulance with serious injures to a local hospital.
The driver of the Nissan, 46-year-old Angela Bowman of Burlington, Iowa, was cited for failure to yield.
The occupants of her vehicle included a 28-year-old male, a 24-year-old female, and a 5-year-old female.
The 69-year-old driver and juvenile occupant of the Ford sustained only minor injuries, according to police.
