Kathy L. Crawford, 69 of Galesburg, IL, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021, at home. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 29, 2021, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Woodhull. Burial is in the Woodhull Cemetery. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Peterson Wallin Knox Funeral Home in Woodhull. A rosary will be recited at 4:00 p.m. A memorial fund will be established.
Kathy was born August 7, 1952, in Rock Island, Illinois to Richard and “Willie” Shannon Heflin. She graduated from AlWood High School in 1970 and WIU with a degree in education. Kathy married Jeffrey Dolan. He died in 1978. Kathy later married James Crawford on October 1, 1985, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Woodhull.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Woodhull where she taught catechism for many years. Kathy enjoyed baking cookies, crocheting, crafting, and especially being with her family.
Survivors include one daughter, Karrina Crawford of Galesburg, Illinois; two sons: Paul Dolan of Junction City, Wisconsin; Adley Crawford of Altona, Illinois; eight grandchildren; one niece and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, one granddaughter, Kali Mae Lynn, and one brother, Rodney.
