Longtime ROWVA School Board member resigns

ROWVA Board of Education member Rob Kalb has resigned from his position citing personal and family reasons after serving for 15 years.

The ROWVA District 208 social media page posted a letter to Board President Jim Haynes from Kalb on Tuesday, which was dated Monday, Feb. 7.

Kalb writes that his resignation is effective immediately and that it has “been a great pleasure and honor to have served the district, community, staff, and students.”

Without citing specifics, Kalb also writes that he hopes that the divides that have been caused lately can be bridged” and that “movement forward in a progressive manner that accounts for all students’ needs can be found.”
