
A Knox County Sheriff’s Deputy was treated and released on Friday, March 11th after getting struck by a fleeing vehicle. A high-speed pursuit on Friday that spilled into Warren County nearly came to an end when the suspect vehicle turned down a dead-end road. The suspect vehicle turned around and struck a sheriff’s deputy that had exited his patrol vehicle. The suspect, 29-year old Alan Stanley of Keithsburg was taken into custody in Monmouth. Stanley is charged with Aggravated Fleeing, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, No Valid License, numerous other traffic charges, and pending charges for Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer. Stanley’s arrest led to a search warrant being served at Paradise Acres in Lake Bracken. 37-year old Nicholas Becker was taken into custody during the search warrant. Becker was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Violation of the FOID Card Act, and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition. Both men were taken to the Knox County Jail.
