Patti Sue Johnson, Age 69 of Galesburg, Illinois died at 9:38 A.M. on Friday, August 12, 2022, at her home in Galesburg, Illinois.
She was born on February 26, 1953, in London Mills, Illinois the daughter of Kenneth and Florence (Labinski) Bearce. She married Robert E. “Bob” Johnson on August 5, 1971, in Bushnell, Illinois. He preceded her in death on June 10, 1997.
Surviving are her children: Debra (Mick) Grace of Bushnell, Illinois, Michelle Barnes of Effingham, Illinois, and Johnny (Ashley) Johnson of Monmouth, Illinois; Six grandchildren: Zachary (Jodi) Grace of Avon, Illinois, Cassy Taylor of Galesburg, Illinois, Chelsea (Marcus) Gibbs of Galesburg, Illinois, Christopher Barber of Little York, Illinois, Sean Schisler of Charleston, Illinois, and Kamara Staub of Monmouth, Illinois; nine great-grandchildren; her siblings: Jo Ulm of London Mills, Illinois, Barbara Gardner of Bloomington, Illinois, Dorothy Wright of Keithsburg, Illinois, Richanda (Kevin) Peters of Cameron, Illinois, Maggie (Don) Hillery of Abingdon, Illinois, Rita (Mike) Hall of Galesburg, Illinois, Roberta Ford of Bushnell, Illinois, Frank “Harvey” (Monica) Bearce of Aledo, Illinois, Richard (Sue) Bearce of Galesburg, Illinois, and John “Keith” (Sharon Bearce of Abingdon, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two grandchildren, and two brothers and two sisters.
She worked for Midwest Plastics in Galesburg, Illinois, the former Admirals in Galesburg, Illinois, and then retired from Dick Blick in Galesburg, Illinois. She enjoyed watching TV and being on the computer.
