Marcy Oglesby, the woman accused of concealing a dead body, along with several felony forgery charges has had her bond to get out of jail increased.
Oglesby was looking for the judge to grant a reduction to her bond amount which was at $10,000 or $1,000 to get out.
Oglesby has been in Knox County Jail custody since her arrest on Oct. 11.
But instead, Judge Richard Gambrell granted the state’s motion to increase bond to $100,000.
Assistant State’s Attorney Ashley Worby asked the Judge to take note of a 2020 Class 3 felony charge of forgery Oglesby pleaded guilty to.
Oglesby’s probation for that case would’ve ended about 30 days before her latest arrest.
Oglesby was also initially arrested not only for concealing a dead body in a Maquon storage locker but for two Fulton County warrants for fraud and deceptive practices.
Just on Monday, Oglesby waived her right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty.
Next she’ll have a pretrial conference that’s scheduled for December 5 at 10 a.m.
