A Stronghurst man who was warned twice by police to stay away from a property is now facing charges after he returned a third time. Friday afternoon, GPD responded to the 200 block of Indiana Avenue after a female subject told police a 26-year-old male subject keeps coming to the residence to talk to her. The upset male suspect had shattered a glass door at the woman’s neighbor’s residence while looking for her. The female told police she was at the neighbor’s when the male suspect came looking for her and punched out a window in the process before getting into his vehicle and placing something into his waistband. The female told police the male then shouted he was going to “do something he would regret.” The male suspect was located walking through backyards in the area returning to the woman’s residence and he was detained. Officers did not find any contraband or weapons on the man. He was transported to the Knox County Jail and charged with Criminal Trespassing and two counts of Criminal Damage to Property.
