Tickets will go on sale Friday morning for the 2023 Back Road Music Festival and next August will be a throwback to the 1990s.
It was announced this morning that Trace Adkins will headline the festival, joined by two of the biggest hit makers of the decade – Lonestar and Diamond Rio.
In his 25-year career in Country music, Trace Adkins has sold over 11 million albums, charted over 20 singles, and earned numerous awards and GRAMMY nominations. A Grand Ole Opry member for nearly two decades, he is known for his dynamic baritone and fiery, always-memorable live performances, and has expanded his Country career to include film and TV acting.
Diamond Rio recently celebrated their 25th Anniversary, has sold more than 10 million albums, and won a Grammy Award, a Dove Award, and six Vocal Group of the Year wins between the Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music. They have 22 Top 10 singles, three certified Platinum, and five gold albums.
Lonestar has been decorated with numerous awards and also sold more than 10 million albums. They won Academy Of Country Music Awards for New Vocal Group in 1996, Single and Song Of The Year in 2000, along with Humanitarian Of The Year in 2002. They also won the Country Music Association’s Vocal Group of the Year and International Artist Achievement award in 2001.
The first three acts of the festival have combined for over 18 number-one songs and 52 Top 10s.
The Back Road Music Festival takes place at the Galva Park District in Galva, on Saturday, August 12, 2023, returning for its 9th year.
Tickets for the festival will go on sale Friday, December 2, at 8:00 a.m. and will be available at the Back Road Music Festival’s website through ticketing partner Etix (billed through Edwards Marketing) and are discounted for a short time.
