During Senior Night at John Thiel Gym (2/02), the Galesburg Silver Streaks girls basketball team defeated the Rock Island Rocks, 74-45, in a Western Big 6 Conference match-up. Galesburg is now 23-6 on the season and in a tie for first in the conference with Geneseo at 9-3.
Syriah Boyd, Antonia Kisler and Kiarra Kilgore were named the Dave’s Auto Body Crunch Time Players of the Game. Syriah finished the game with 13 points and 12 rebounds, Antonia had 11 points and 13 rebounds, and Kiarra had a monster game scoring 29 points with 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals.
