The Galesburg Silver Streaks will be represented at the IHSA State wrestling tournament by a female athlete for the first time. GHS sophomore Annalisa Gibbons qualified at the Geneseo sectional last week in the 140lb weight class. She’ll wrestle at the state meet starting tomorrow at Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington. Annalisa and coach Eric Vogel joined Tom Meredith and Tyler Gumm on “Galesburg’s Morning News” to talk about her experience thus far.
