
Night Time Police Violent Crime Intervention. Police Vehicles with Flashing Lights.
A ROWVA Jr. High School student was charged with making threats of violence towards students and the school.
According to a release from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, on Thursday, March 2, an investigation was done after reports of a student making threats were made.
The student was taken into custody and transported to the Mary Davis Juvenile Detention Center in Galesburg and charged with Felony Disorderly Conduct.
Despite that, the Sheriff’s Office says they will “conduct extra patrols of the Junior/Senior High School to ensure the safety of students and staff.”
No other information was released.
