Tuesday, March 7 – Knox Rocks in Downtown Galesburg

Join the Knox College Pop bands, funk band and guitar ensembles for the end of the term concert.  Featuring Buttered Noodles, Miss Izabella’s Lost Friends, Chicxulub, S.M.I.L.F, Not Enough Guitars and the Whiskey Bees. They’re celebrating the end of the term and want the public to join in the fun. Show starts at 7 p.m. at Galesburg Community Arts Center. Wednesday-Saturday, March 8-11 – 156 East Celebrates 5 Years!

156 East is celebrating 5 years in business with food, drinks, and prizes! Festivities will begin at the downtown bar and grill on Wednesday, March 8 and run through Saturday, March 11. Saturday, March 11 – Roll Back in Time at Skate Palace

Let’s throw it back, back to the 80s & 90s! Break out the neon and big hair for All Stars Sports Academy Skate Palace’s 80/90s Adult Skate on March 11th, from 8 p.m.-midnight. Those that are 18+ can enjoy the music that will have you reminiscing as you roll around the old Skate Palace, while partaking in limbo, hokey pokey, and more! DJ Nate G will be playing hip hop and R&B classics, along with classic rock and country music to keep you entertained. Bring all your friends and make old memories come alive again! Saturday, March 11 – Kids Can Catch Some Luck

Are you feeling lucky? Let the kids try their chance at catching a leprechaun, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, when they build a trap at Discovery Depot! Engineer a colorful, fun, and useful trap to catch the luck of the Irish on the big day. Then, inspire wonder by playing and learning through the several exhibits offered by the children’s museum.
