Patsy Hasley
Patsy Ann Hasley, 70, passed away unexpectedly March 31, 2023, in Prattville, Alabama.
She was born March 1, 1953, in Rock Island, Illinois to Everett and Maxine (Belk) Head.
She was a sweet woman who loved to read, sew, draw, and listen to the best rock music. Her favorite band was The Doors.
Patsy met the love of her life, William (Bill) Hasley, in Galesburg, Illinois. She and Bill married on April 23, 1977, and later welcomed two girls, Miranda (Shriver) and Shelly (Karle).
Patsy worked for years at Protexall and later at Regions Bank after the family relocated to Prattville, Alabama in 1993. For the past 17 years, she ran her own small businesses (Prattville Cigar Co. and Your CBD Store) serving her local community. She loved to work and had the strongest work ethic around. She enjoyed socializing with her customers and friends, a loving confidante to so many. When Patsy wasn’t at her stores, she enjoyed cross-stitching, reading on her Kindle, playing BubblePanda on her iPad, shopping at TJ Maxx and smoking cigars on the back porch with her husband.
Patsy was the fiercest advocate and defender of her husband and daughters, truly a dedicated wife and mother. She took pride in “the girlies” she raised into strong and smart women. She deeply loved her husband, Bill, and cherished the nearly 50 years they had together.
Patsy had a wicked sense of humor, but also a firm moral compass and unwavering faith in God. She was absolutely an amazing woman and touched everyone that she met.
Patsy adored her four grandchildren, sharing her love for life with Sofia (Karle), a love of sports with Hasley (Shriver), the love of reading and drawing with Vivian (Karle) and her love of crafts with Harper (Shriver).
Patsy is survived by her husband, Bill Hasley; daughter, Miranda Shriver (Marc); daughter Shelly Karle (Ryan); brother, Bill Head (Gladys); and four grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her in-laws, Donald and Geneva Hasley.
