Thursday: That’s So 90s!

Weekend: The Odd Couple Premieres at Prairie Players
Neil Simon’s revision of this hugely successful play, The Odd Couple, sees Olive and Madison as best friends, despite their VERY different personalities. When Florence is dumped by her husband, Olive invites her to move in as her roommate. It’s a rough go, when Olive organizes a double date with the Costazuela brothers, and their differences come to a head and sparks fly. Kids can inspire wonder at Discovery Depot, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 20 during Kids Engineer: Whirligigs & Flyers! Free with admission, kids will learn how to make different things fly with supplies you may have at home. Test how far yours can go! Sunday: Kids Gone Fishin’
Lincoln Park plays host to the annual Youth Fishing Derby at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 21, a free event for families from the Galesburg area! An excellent chance for kids to be exposed to outdoor skills, the need for conservation, and a fun way to spend the day, this event welcomes children ages 3-15. Hundreds of prizes will be given away for the first participants to catch a fish! Bring your own pole or borrow one (limited quantities available). Can’t fish?
