Our guest today on Galesburg Live has been a familiar name to Galesburg sports fans for parts of the last six decades. Mike Trueblood is the longtime former sports editor of The Register-Mail. During his nearly 45 years at the paper, Mike covered thousands of Silver Streaks athletes, hundreds of games and dozens of coaches. Recently, he added an impressive title to his long list of accomplishments. This November, Mike Trueblood will enter the Galesburg Athletic Hall of Fame as a Friend of Athletics. Mike reflects on his career and the hall of fame honor in a conversation with WGIL Content Director Jay Redfern.
