Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work for the CIA? Galesburg native Mike Tadie joins WGIL Content Director Jay Redfern to talk about his 29-year career with the Central Intelligence Agency.

Tadie retired from the Central Intelligence Agency in 2019 after 30 years of federal government service.

A 1981 Galesburg High School graduate, Tadie served in many assignments at CIA, including as a manager and supervisor in areas such as auditing, inspections, support, public affairs, education, and analysis. He traveled to nearly three dozen countries for work, and is a Career Intelligence Medal recipient.

Tadie talks about nearly 3 decades of service with CIA, along with his years of growing up in Galesburg and how his hometown helped set him on a path for a fascinating career.
