The Knox County Sheriff says that one person is dead after a vehicle accident in the 1300 block of Knox Highway 25.
Deputies responded in the early morning hours of Wednesday and found one victim deceased inside the vehicle.
Authorities are withholding the name of the victim pending official identification and family notification.
The Sheriff’s Department says they are continuing to investigate but foul play is not suspected.
They were assisted by Knoxville Fire, Illinois State Police, and the Illinois State Fire Marshal’s Office
