A man wanted for attempted first degree murder in connection with a stabbing incident in Galesburg on Saturday night has been apprehended.
Jeremiah Bradfield, was taken into custody by the Galesburg Police Department at approximately 11 a.m. Monday. He was arrested and charged with attempted first degree murder, and is currently in custody at the Knox County Jail.
According to a news release, the Galesburg Police Department responded to JB Hawks/Lucky’s Landing, 1042 N. Henderson St. at approximately 9:12 p.m. Saturday in reference to a disturbance.
GPD located a victim who had multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported by Galesburg Hospital Ambulance Service to OSF St. Mary’s Medical Center and then transported to OSF St. Francis in by Life Flight. The victim remains in stable condition.
The suspect has been identified as Jeremiah Bradfield and is wanted for attempted first degree murder.
