
Galesburg High School’s Lily Furrow earned Western Big 6 Conference swimmer of the years as the Silver Streaks placed second at the conference swimming and diving championship Saturday at United Township High School in East Moline.
Moline won the team championship with 288 points, 18 points ahead of Galesburg in the six-team field.
A sophomore, Furrow placed first in the 100 free and helped the Streaks win two relay events. She was named WB6 Swimmer of the Year for her efforts.

200 medley relay: 1. Macie Nelson, Allie Warren, Olivia Owen, Lily Furrow 1:53.08.
50 free: 1. Olivia Owen 26.05.
100 free: 1. Lily Furrow 53.27.
200 free relay: 1. Macie Nelson, Olivia Owen, Lily Furrow, Alie Warren 1:42.31.
100 breast: 1. Allie Warren 1:10.56.
