Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory’s “Victorian Christmas” was judged to be the best entry in the third annual Holly Days Parade on Sunday in Downtown Galesburg.

The second-place float was created by the Knox County Housing Authority and the third-place winner was Nate Hobbs and the Grinch.
The lighted parade attracted 70 entries according to Holly Days Parade coordinator Tessa Jones, communications manager at Galesburg Tourism & Visitors Bureau. Jones estimated between 3,500 and 4,000 people lined the parade route Sunday evening, making it the most-highly attended Holly Days parade in the three years of the event.
