- OSF Monmouth Clinic will be opening at 8 a.m. tomorrow.

- OSF Knoxville Clinic will be opening tomorrow at 9 a.m.
- Rehab and cardiac rehab at OSF Holy Family and OSF St. Mary will be delayed at 9 a.m. tomorrow.

The Galesburg Police Department reports I-74 east-bound is backed up due to a semi accident past mile marker 48 near Galesburg. Please avoid the area if possible. The west bound lane is open.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Department urges drivers to use caution this morning. Deputies say that roads are icy in areas. Road crews are working to get them cleaned.

According to the National Weather Service in Lincon, a strong winter storm will continue to bring heavy, wet snow and strong winds to central Illinois through tonight. Snowfall rates of 0.5 inch per hour at times are still possible west of the IL River. Windy conditions will continue today, but will become stronger tonight when gusts approach 45 mph. Travel impacts to this mornings commute are expected near/north of I-72 where winter weather headlines are in effect.

A snow emergency for the City of Galesburg will go into effect at 10 p.m. on Monday. Citizens are reminded that a parking prohibition will take effect on all Galesburg city streets during the snow emergency. Vehicles parked on city streets (except in the central business district) during this time will be subject to ticketing and towing. The parking prohibition will remain in effect until all streets are cleared.
