Reeder, William

William Clark Reeder died Sunday, January 14, 2024, in Harvey, Illinois. Bill was born in Bloomington, Illinois, on December 24, 1946, and was the son of Charles W. and Irene C. Reeder.

A lifelong resident of Abingdon, Bill graduated from Abingdon High School in 1965. For the past several years Bill was a house painter as well as assisting in antique auctions for Dan Boyer.

Bill’s life-long interest in antiques began when he was ten years old and acquired an Edison Dictaphone. He owned several antique cars beginning with a 1926 Ford Model T which he drove through high school.

He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his sister Cynthia Reeder Knowles and his twin brother Robert C. Reeder, both of Galesburg.
