Thursday: Knox County IL CEO Program
Come to the 6th Annual CEO Trade Show at The Vault from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 25! This year, we will have our students showcasing their individual business that they have been working on throughout the program. Businesses range from candles and beauty products to handmade products to services like car detailing and translating and much more. That means make sure to bring your cards and cash if you want to purchase any of our students’ goods or services. This year we are also inviting the Chamber of Commerce and their members for a Business After Hours. Please be sure to RSVP through their online portal if you are a Galesburg Area Chamber member.
Thursday: Elgar Cello Concerto
The Knox-Galesburg Symphony presents the Elgar Cello Concerto at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25 at the Orpheum Theatre! Featuring Kedrick Armstrong, conductor, and Kenny Lee, cello. Students are $5 and Adults are $20, tickets can be purchased here!

Friday: Nature at Night: Sustainable Candle Making
Light up the night from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 26t at the Lakeside Nature Center Shelter! Learn how to create your own new candles from old-using recycled jars to make new candles! Weather and time permitting, we can take a walk through the woods! Open to all ages, cost is $5 per person or $15 per family. Saturday: Independent Bookstore Day
