On Wednesday, April 3, 2024, Peter Clough Bulkeley passed away. He was 84. Born to Gerald Clough and Patricia Ann Bulkeley in Galesburg, Illinois. Peter loved to reminisce about growing up in Abingdon, Illinois, with his many cousins. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor of science degree and a masters degree in business administration. After graduation he moved to Colorado and eventually spent most of his working life in data processing at Stearns-Roger Corporation.
Peter’s love of history inspired him to take many History Colorado trips with his wife of almost 42 years, Edie Conklin, They also enjoyed many train trips, both contemporary and historical.
Watching reruns of The Big Bang Theory was one of his favorite pasttimes in recent years.
Peter is survived by his current wife, Edie Conklin; sons from his first marriage, Michael and his wife, Laurie, Andrew and his wife, Sabine; grandchildren, Martha and Cy; and his brother, Michael. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Deanna, and his sister, Christy. There will not be a public service.
