Knox County real estate bills will soon be in the mail. Here is when they are due and how to pay

Knox County 2023 real estate bills are being mailed Friday, May 24.

Knox County Treasurer, Robin E. Davis, reminds area residents to contact her office if they have not received their bill by June 15. Liability for payment cannot be waived per Illinois statutes.

Installment due dates are July 9 and Sept. 9, 2024.

Payments may be made at the Knox County Courthouse, either in the treasurer’s office or in the drop boxes located at the exit of the parking lot and on the north side of the building. Drop box payments are collected at 8:30 a.m. and posted as the prior business day. Payments may also be mailed to the County Collector at the Knox County Courthouse located at 200 S. Cherry St., Galesburg, IL 61401.

Echeck and credit or debit card payments are also available with a fee to the cardholder at the Treasurer’s office, online at www.payknoxcoil.us, or by phone at (309) 315-4760.

As well, payments can be made at any of the banks in Knox County excluding Wells Fargo (per their request).
