A former Galesburg gym owner has been found guilty on two counts of criminal sexual assault and a count of aggravated sexual abuse.
Beau Admire, 43, was found guilty on all charges he faced in a bench trial before Judge James Standard Thursday in Warren County.
Admire owned Badger Combatives, a martial arts school in downtown Galesburg, and also taught classes before he was arrested in 2022.
Warren County prosecutors say that Admire used his position as the victim’s instructor to engage her in sex.
The victim was 13 and 14 at the time the three incidents took place which are the basis for Admire’s charges.
Sentencing for Admire is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Aug. 9 .
