Thursday – Sunday: Railroad Days 2024
Join us for the annual Railroad Days weekend starting on Thursday, June 27 through the Sunday in Downtown Galesburg! Events begin on 6 p.m. Thursday through 5 p.m. Sunday. This weekend includes all kinds of fun for everyone! Rail yard tours, carnival rides, food trucks, vendors, antique cars, a huge model train show, local food and brews, live music, movies, a live rail car wheel change demo, and tons more! Friday: Chew Chew & Brew Block Party
We’re kicking off Railroad Days with another Block Party! Join us for a night of local eats, live beats, and good times in Downtown Galesburg. On Friday, June 28th from 5-10 p.m. at Park Plaza (130 E Main St, Galesburg IL 61401). $5 Entry, Ages 8 & under are FREE. This is a CASH ONLY event, with a FREE Kids Area & Activities from 5-7 p.m. Local eats & libations from Bar 65, 156 East, Cherry Street, Coney Island, Iron Spike, The Pizza House, and The Wolves Den Pizzeria. We can’t wait to kickoff Railroad Days with you!
Saturday & Sunday: Cornucopia’s 35th Anniversary Celebration
Join us to celebrate 35 years of business! From our humble beginnings in a tiny storefront down the street to our current location, we have been proud to provide our community with healthy options for over three decades. We’re having a 2-day extravaganza on Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30 filled with free samples, a cookout, gift baskets, presentations, games, and more! Hear from your favorite local producers such as Grateful Graze, Balm-Diggity, Melhus Farms, and more! All events are free and open to everyone.
Saturday June 29
- 8 a.m.: Doors Open – Giveaway Baskets every hour
- 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Local Meat Cookout with vegan options
- Noon: Grateful Graze presents
- 1-4 p.m.: Make & Take DIY Bar with Now Foods essential oils

Saturday: Railroad Trivia Night
All Aboard! Calling all train enthusiasts for this one of a kind, all railroad trivia night presented by the Mt Calvary Lutheran Church Building Committee! Join us at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 1372 W. Fremont St., Galesburg on Saturday, June 29, 2024. Doors open at 5 p.m., trivia will begin at 6pm. We would appreciate early reservations for your team to make sure we have enough tables! Teams are $100/table (up to 10 people per table).

Sunday: LIPANDA Day Festival
Come celebrate the diversity in our community, with a day of gratitude and enjoyment from 2-8:30 p.m. Sunday, June 30! Enjoy African food and drinks at the Farmers Market parking lot (362 E Simmons St) starting at 2 p.m. and then celebrating with Gospel music at The Orpheum Theatre with international singer Dena Mwana featuring Pipi and Daniel music at 6 p.m. Tickets on sale here!
