Thursday: TBT – Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002)
Join us for another Throwback Thursdays movie! Watch as an unbreakable stallion fights for his freedom, and his friends. Throwback Thursdays movies are completely FREE thanks to our sponsor F&M Bank.
Friday: All-Ages Craft Night
Come out to Prairie Moon Farm (located at 1467 State Rte 97, Knoxville, IL) for our first ever All-Ages Craft Night! 6:30 p.m. on Friday, August 2.
At this event, you will get to:
- Paint a birdhouse to take home with you (We will provide the birdhouse and art supplies)
- Join us for a short guided tour of our farm, and learn more about our alpacas, mini donkeys, and pumpkins
- Take a ride on the Prairie Moon Express train ride (weather permitting)
- Visit our farm shop to peruse the selection of home and seasonal decor, Amish-made jams, and more
All ages are welcome! Water and soda will be available for purchase. The cost will be $15 per person. Tickets are limited to 24 attendees, and must be purchased in advance. Click here to reserve your spot today.
Friday: First Fridays
An opportunity to get outside, and visit with your friends while enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of Historic Seminary Street. Browse the shops for the latest must-haves, listen to the live, local music and either visit one of our restaurants or sample their offerings on the street. First Friday will be from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, on Seminary Street.
We will have live, local music, and the merchants will be rolling out the red carpet with fun new products and fun activities. Free children’s enrichment activities will be provided, as well as adult beverage sampling (adult beverages require a valid photo ID!) and many of the Seminary Street restaurants will be out on the street selling food to make you happy and beverages to make you happier! Bring a lawn chair as seating is limited!

Saturday: Make a Fairy Garden
Our next class at Greenhouse & Decor is for Fairy Gardens! This class will take place from 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday Aug 3. Cost will be $35 per person. Please be sure to register and pay in advance. You can use Venmo or PayPal – My PayPal is debbieclague@yahoo.com and Venmo is @Debra-Clague.
You will choose 2 plants/succulents, 3 figurines/accessories, pebbles or rock and design the garden however you like. Come enjoy the fun and let your creativeness flow!
Saturday: Prairie-oke
Sing your heart out at Prairie Players Civic Theatre for Prairie-oke Back to 80’s Party on Saturday August 3rd at 8pm! Tickets are $10 a piece. Join us for a social night of karaoke, drinks, and fun! Address is 160 S. Seminary Street, Galesburg IL 61401.
