Anthony Lamont Cameron

Anthony Lamont Cameron

Anthony Lamont Cameron was born on July 27, 1973, to A.C. Cameron, Jr. and Cynthia Grandberry at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL. On February 1, 2011, he married Melanie Marie Bower. Anthony opened his heart to the Lord Jesus Christ and was baptized in his name. Anthony started each day with a prayer and song. Anthony was a hard worker and was praised for his work ethic at various companies. His dream was to open his own business.

Anthony loved family and friends. Loved ones would look for him at any event, because his personality added the extra fun and made that even unforgettable. His smile and laugh were infectious. He could walk into a room full of strangers and walk out with new friends. Cars and animals were his other loves. Anthony was so excited to talk about how he changed an engine to a more powerful one. He had three dogs he loved to wrestle and run with. At age ten, he was selling garden snakes for a dollar.

Anthony is preceded in death by his father, A.C. Cameron, Jr.; grandparents, Charlean Harris and Emma and A.C. Cameron, Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Cynthia (Sam) Grandberry; wife, Melanie Cameron; four daughters, Andrienna, Anaya, Ayana, Amara and Azarie Cameron; three brothers, Michael (Lawanda) Cameron, Carl (Doreice) Burse, and Douglas (Kim) Cameron; and Aunts, Uncles and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
