Ramage, Trae

Trae Mychael Ramage, 17, of Galesburg, Illinois, died Monday, August 26, 2024, at home.

Trae was born March 6, 2007, in Galesburg, the son of Kayla Ann Ramage and Craig Campbell.  Trae was currently a senior at Galesburg High School with plans to graduate at semester and attend a trade school to become a welder.  He was currently working at Little Caesars in Galesburg.

Trae is survived by his mother, Kayla Ramage of Galesburg; his father, Craig Campbell of Galesburg; his two younger brothers, Easton and Cooper Hughes both of Galesburg; grandparents, Bobbette (James Collin) Ramage of Galesburg, Ernie (Mindy) Ramage of Victoria, Illinois, Estella Campbell of Galesburg, and Elmus Wallace of Galesburg; his great grandparents, Pat (Jessie) Ramage of Galesburg, and Laura (Jim Myers) Dowell of Monmouth, Illinois.  He is also survived by one uncle, Hunter Ramage of Victoria; and two aunts, Madison and Maisey Behrens both of Galesburg.

Growing up, Trae enjoyed playing baseball as well as basketball.  He loved to listen to music, sing, and workout.  Trae was also proud to be a big brother and loved being with Easton and Cooper.  He enjoyed going out to Grandma Laura’s and helping around her house.

Cremation will be accorded.  Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2024, at Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  No funeral services are planned.  Memorial contributions may be directed to The Gray Matters Collective or The Illinois Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.  Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.watsonthomas.com.
