There’s a method to snow and ice removal. Here is Galesburg’s plan once winter arrives

When the snow flies, the City of Galesburg is prepared to keep local streets clear of snow and ice this winter.

In advance of the upcoming winter snow season, the City of Galesburg is providing a reminder regarding the snow removal process and parking guidelines when a snow emergency is in effect.

When snow accumulation reaches two inches, a snow emergency and parking prohibition will automatically go into effect for the City of Galesburg.
