The United Way of Knox County is on the search for a new Executive Director.
Director Hayleigh Green is leaving to become a business teacher at Galesburg High School according to a United Way Facebook post on Tuesday.
Green has been the Executive Director for the past two years, and before that was Director of Marketing and Communications.
The post reads that Green’s “dedication to our organization has been invaluable. From organizing many successful events, to delivering beds in the evenings with her husband, we are grateful for all that she has accomplished.”
A separate post on United Way’s Facebook encouraging applicants for the position say the director acts as a brand ambassador and champion for the United Way of Knox County, providing visionary leadership and operational oversight.
