Nothing found after Monmouth-Roseville High bomb threat

Monmouth-Roseville High School was evacuated Tuesday after a bomb threat, according to the Monmouth Police Department. After a search, no explosive or harmful devices were located on school grounds. 

At approximately 2 p.m. Tuesday, the Monmouth Police Department received a report of a bomb threat called in to Monmouth-Roseville High School. According to police, the call had a likely origin in Chicago. 

In response, a maximum deployment of law enforcement resources was mobilized, including support from multiple assisting agencies. The high school was evacuated in a controlled and orderly manner, following protocols practiced during routine safety drills. No injuries were reported during the evacuation process. 

Multiple K9 units trained in explosive detection were deployed to the scene to conduct a thorough sweep of the premises. Following a rapid and comprehensive search, authorities confirmed that no explosive or harmful devices were located on school grounds. 

The Monmouth Police Department, in collaboration with federal, state, and local partners, is actively investigating the source of the threat. Additional updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
