JOLIET, Ill. (AP) — A guilty verdict has been returned against the fourth suspect in a 2013 Joliet, Illinois double murder.
A Will County jury deliberated for about 90 minutes Monday before finding 21-year-old Adam Landerman guilty in the strangulation deaths of Eric Glover and Terrance Rankins, both 22.
The two victims were lured to a Joliet house, where they expected to party with Alisa Massaro, Bethany McKee, Joshua Miner and Landerman. However, the four plotted to rob the victims for cigarette money. Miner strangled Rankins while Landerman strangled Glover.
McKee and Miner were found guilty by Judge Gerald Kinney in trials last year and sentenced to life imprisonment. Massaro pleaded guilty to robbery and concealing a homicide charges and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Landerman faces a mandatory life in prison sentence.
