
Julie Ann (Moore) Strom age 58 of Victoria, IL died November 6, 2017 at 1:23 p.m. in her home surrounded by family.She was born April 2, 1959 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital. She is the daughter of Thomas Moore & Betty (Nelson) Stutler. She graduated from Williamsfield High School in 1977. She married Michael J. Strom August 1, 1981.
Julie is survived by her husband Michael J. Strom of Victoria, IL. Three children: Angela (Strom) Tyler Snow of Galesburg, IL, Tabitha (Strom) Beardsley of Gilson, IL, & Cody (Brittany) Strom of Dahinda, IL. She has three brothers: Jeff (Joanie) Moore of Schaumberg, IL, Justin (Lori) Moore of Oneida, IL and Barry (Elizabeth) Stutler of Hoffman Estates, IL. She has five grandchildren Wayne & Aubrey Beardsley, Noah Snow, Mason & River Strom, who she adored dearly.
She was preceded in her death by her parents Thomas Moore & Betty Stutler and a nephew Kevin Moore.
Julie worked at the Williamsfield School District for over 27 ½ years as a lead cook. She was a 4-H member of Sugar & Spice of Dahinda, IL. She loved gardening, canning, cooking, & crocheting. She very much enjoyed living a country life. She was always dedicated to helping others! Julie & her husband donated a lot of their fruits and vegetables to many families and the rescue mission. She also crocheted hats for cancer patients even though she was one. She was an extremely dedicated mother and grand-mother. Family was of the upmost importance. She loved entertaining and playing games like Rook, Pitch, Skip-Bo, & Yahtzee. Julie was loved by so many & blessed to be part of everyone’s lives.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes in Knoxville, Illinois. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes in Knoxville, Illinois. Rev. Jennifer Seder will officiate. Interment will be at the Williamsfield Cemetery, Williamsfield, Illinois. In-lieu of Flowers Memorial Contributions may be mde to the Family.
