Galesburg family urges testing for neuromuscular disease

Tracy Parlier’s three-year-old daughter Lily suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy, and thanks to a relatively new drug, her daughter is doing well.  But, it took lots of testing and doctor visits to determine just what was wrong with Lily.  Tracy’s advocating for SMA to be one of the disorders automatically tested for just after birth.  She talked about her recent experiences with Will Stevenson on Galesburg’s Evening News.
