The Galesburg Silver Streaks won two match-ups on Friday at the Mattoon Holiday Tournament as they defeated Vandalia 60-40 in the nightcap.
Streaks shot the ball extremely well throughout the day including a 24/48 performance in the victory over Vandalia.
Our Dave’s Autobody Crunch-Time Player of the Game was Audree Peck who led the way for the Streaks with 20 points on 9/12 from the field and completing 2/2 from the free throw line. She added to her stellar performance with an assist, a steal, and pulling down 9 rebounds just narrowly missing a double-double. Riley Jenkins also just missed a double-double adding 12 points, 9 assists, and 6 rebounds on the night. Lauren Livingston finished with 12 points and Kadynce Lydic came off the bench scoring 8 points for the Streaks.
Streaks are now 11-6 on the year and will wrap up tournament play here in Mattoon as they will take on Decatur St. Teresa tomorrow afternoon at 1:30pm.
