CHICAGO (AP) – Police say an 11-year-old boy has been charged in an armed carjacking last fall where he and other males allegedly stole an SUV at gunpoint from two Chicago women. The boy was arrested Wednesday and charged as a juvenile with vehicular hijacking and criminal trespass to property for the Nov. 19 carjacking in the Mount Greenwood neighborhood on Chicago’s southwest side. Police say he was identified as one of the people who took the SUV from two women, ages 57 and 36. Investigators say they are still pursuing leads in hopes of arresting the others involved.
