Wednesday: Cocktails & Cafe

The Downtown Community Partnership presents the final Cafe in the Park event of the season — Cocktails & Cafe, from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20 in Park Plaza in Downtown Galesburg.

Music will be performed by Jera & Carol Jean.

Food and drink vendors will be Bar 65, The Watering Hole, Big Catz and Double Play.

 

Friday: Cora & Gordon Markwart Retrospective

Galesburg Community Art Center invites you to celebrate Cora Marwart’s 100th year through this retrospective of her work, also featuring the work of Gordon Markwart. Main Gallery, First Floor, Galesburg Community Art Center. September 22 thru October 21. Join us for the reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 22. FREE / Cash Bar / Live Music / Hors d’oeuvre

 

Saturday: Janet Tolle/Nikki Ponce Book Signing

Join Wordsmith Bookshoppe as they host Local Author Janet Tolle! Janet will be signing copies of her newest children’s book filled with Galesburg history from 1 to 3 p.m.!

 

Saturday: Multiple Pathways to Healing

Come celebrate recovery month with West Central Illinois ROSC! They will be having their 3rd Annual Recovery Walk, with speakers, resource tables, a Knox County Drug Court fundraiser, live music, and lunch available for purchase! Saturday: Preserving the Harvest Workshop

Join Cornucopia Natural Market & Deli for their second annual canning workshop! On Saturday, September 23rd from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., enjoy a glass of wine and learn about the basics of food preservation. Dive in to the process of canning with the guided help of a seasoned teacher. Tickets are $25 and available on their website!
