Illinois State Police are looking for the region’s help in finding a so-called person of interest after a man ended up dead earlier this month.
Troopers say James Reed III, 26, Kewanee, is wanted for questioning after a body was found inside a home June 8 – this, after Kewanee Police responded to the home in the 800 block of West Division St. in Kewanee for a welfare check.
An autopsy later determined that the death of Damon Foulks, 50, Peoria was a homicide.
After what police called a “thorough investigation,” Reed was determined to be a Person of Interest.
